The month of June is the time to mark Independence Day for the Malagasy. It's a time like this when everyone should be aware of the reason for celebrating this holiday. The hoisting of the national flag is a symbol of national sovereignty. The histories of Madagascar are almost written by seasoned writers such as Grandidier, Flacourt and Jacques Tronchon, so there are many facts that have been deliberately concealed, which is why there is doubt. The return of independence should be very warm, and that's why the national flag should be hoisted, along with the ways of celebrating it (lanterns, parties, meals...).

There is no "crisis" in the life of the Church, but not everyone realizes the value of self, life, heart and soul, homeland and the value of the environment.

At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.
