Rift Valley Fever is a disease that affects ruminant mammals. Transmission between animals occurs through the bite of a mosquito which is both the reservoir and the vector of the virus responsible for the disease. This disease has been known since 1880, and the first case of contamination in humans dates from 1951, in South Africa. Fever is spread in humans by handling the blood and eating the meat and milk of sick animals.

Love and Salvation
