September 2, 2024 — Monday, Twenty-second Week in Ordinary Time — The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; he has sent me to bring glad tidings to the poor — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke (Lk 4: 16-30)

One of the characteristics of Jesus' prayer is its solitude. It's not that we shun the world, that we pray in silence and isolation, but when we are alone in a quiet place in our prayers, we hear a voice hidden deep in our hearts. The prayer of Jesus is the place where we realise that everything comes from God and returns to him. Catechesis on Jesus, a man of prayer, in collaboration with Fr Justolat Rafaralahimboa.

September 1, 2024 — Twenty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time — The Father willed to give us birth by the word of truth that we may be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark (Mk 7: 1-8, 14-15, 21-23)

Prayer is like a guiding light that guides Jesus on his way to accomplish the mission that the Father entrusted to him. Prayer is what perfects and improves the world for a day. The Church tries to guide us in prayer every day: there is a prayer for the sanctification of the day that many people do, apart from those who are consecrated. Prayer opens our hearts and souls to an openness with God. Catechesis on Jesus, a man of prayer, in collaboration with Fr Justolat Rafaralahimboa.
