Monday August 2, 2021-Eighteenth of ordinary times -Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God-Holy Gospel according to Saint Matthew 14, 13-21

Jesus was alone in the wilderness to pray. He is a role model for us when it comes to prayer, but even God always prays, so we humans really need to pray. We must pray, be alone, enter a desert undisturbed, a desert, a dry place and not in the noise of God. So if we make noise in the church or do any prayer they want to say and become disconnected, we don't go into the wilderness like Jesus did and never see God, we don't pray. not ! Be careful not to go wrong. It should be noted here that not only the external noise is defective, but also internal. That is, it has to be quiet inside and out to truly be a room.

When people heard this, they came from different cities and followed him on foot: a fascination. But it is really following Jesus: following everything that he does. Isn't that what we do when we go to church, or to these various hierarchical gatherings: where do we come from to a meeting place? to the Lord. So don't be lazy, you have to save them, even if they don't choose, so don't be lazy, don't be mean. May the people always save them and not just a few people, the only tree that is not a forest, the only sign that does not succeed, the only person who is not a people. Jesus was always compassionate when he saw a large crowd, as we see here, so let's not have mercy on him because it prevents those around us and others from saving them. A compassionate and compassionate heart, aware of the pain and suffering of others, is an example for Christians.

Second, what the students are doing here reflects our human mentality: they are in a hurry to destroy, they are not looking for a solution but something easy and not difficult; but often they come from the evil one. So whoever destroys us or separates us, let us examine ourselves and repent and change. The Corona is like that but we are not. But this is contrary to the way of God: Jesus is clear here: “They don't have to go, but give them to eat. It means: to come together, to unite. To put it simply, people disperse, but God unites, unites. So what do we do ? Let us make it a priority not to be separated from God in order to be united with those around us. Then it will be easy to give what we have so that God can grow, as we see in this gospel, no matter how big or small he is, but it is not right not to give Him, because those who are greedy will often spent more. we sing: "He who gives and distributes the little he has in hand to others, accumulates an incorruptible inheritance". God provides a way for his people to be satisfied. So do not wait for manna from heaven but be able to give, even if only five loaves of bread and two fish. Five plus two is seven: it is a sign of completeness! So be brave about it. Amen.
