27 November - Saint Séverin de Paris is a hermit who lived in Paris in the 6th century. Attracted to the contemplative life, he spent a large part of his life locked up in a cell on the banks of the Seine, praying and meditating.
His example attracted many Parisians, who became his disciples and took him as a model of devotion, piety and humility. Saint Cloud was one of them. He is buried in his hermitage, which became the parish of Saint-Séverin (Paris 5e).
