Happy new year everybody!? May this year brings joy and peace and especially let's ensure equity in society together. Holy Mother Mary is celebrated at this beginning of the year. A happy feast for those who have the mother God as patron Saint.

The divine motherhood of Mary is celebrated one week after the nativity, It is what we called in Latin: "In octava nativis Domini". IT is during the council of Ephesus in 431 the title "Théotokos" (Θεοτόκος) that is "God-bearer", is established because his son is "True God from True God", the second person of the Most Holy Trinity was incarnate within her at the time of the announcement of the Angel.

Still on this 1st January, The church celebrated the International Day of Peace. In this occasion, the Popes who succeeded sent messages in order to the entire church and all of the people of goodwill participate in the joint effort in the establishment of peace in the world. A peace, which the Christ, sent by God, has given to the world and to the humanity:

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing. It is this love and this salvation that we wish to fill our life so that we have peace.
