17 July - Saint Marcelline was born at Trier, in the Prefecture of the Praetorium of the Gauls, around 330 and died around 398. Her brother was Saint Ambrose of Milan. Her father was Prefect of the Pretorium of Transalpine Gaul.

She received the veil from the hands of the Pope Libera in the Vatican's St. Peter's Basilica and followed her brother to Milan. They exchanged many letters. Her brother dedicated his treatise "de virginibus" to her.

Love and Salvation
