February 18 — Bernadette Soubirous was born in 1844 and is from a poor family. It can be said that it illustrates the intimate relationship between God and children.

At the age of 14, i-e in 1858, the Virgin Mary appeared to her and charged her with a message. This apparition took place 18 times in the cave of Massabielle.THen, she entered the convent of Nevers and lived there in total humility. On several occasions, the superior, Sr Marie-Bernard, offended her, treating her as less than nothing, but she acquiesced in silence, keeping all humility in her heart.

She died on April 16, 1878 but the church celebrates her memory on February 18 because it is on this that the Virgin Mary addressed the promise to her:"I promise you bliss, not in this life but in the next."

Love and Salvation
