Holy Gospel written by Saint John 1, 6-8; 19-28: There was a man sent by God, his name was John; he came as a witness to proclaim the Light, so that everyone might believe because of his words. But he is not the Light, he only came as a witness to reveal the Light... The third Sunday of the Lord's coming is called Joy Sunday. Joy should fill Christ's disciples, in easy things as well as in difficult ones...
