Silence, a gesture that is difficult to accomplish for us humans but essential to our relationship with God. If we keep talking, we will not hear what God is saying. Jesus himself invites us to do it in the Gospel of Matthew 6, 6.

So let's start with Jesus' statement in Matthew 6, 6: " But when you pray, go to your private room, shut yourself in, and so pray to your Father who is in that secret place”.

So all you have to do is remember quietly before God. It is not moving but it is very positive. Removed without putting anything in mind or heart. Not thinking about anything. Not wanting anything. Never mind anything. We sincerely feel that it is before God, who we know loves and hears us.

That is watching and listening with love and quietly observing God.

Know and feel that God loves us. So kindly respond to him as a baby does. No worries. Because it's not necessary! It also does not wait for anything, knowing that  God's love is already flowing.

One day, Jesus was invited in his friend's house. Martha, the owner of the house, felt that her guest must be treated with dignity and dignity. Then he was worried, worried. It is a tool that is packed with various details. Meanwhile, her sister, Mary, sits at Jesus' feet. Quiet and speechless just listening. And do nothing but that. It was then that Martha complained that her sister was doing nothing. He came and received instruction (Luke 10, 38-42).

In an adult act, Martha feels responsible. He shows in his work his willingness to serve. This is a practical way to show our love for the Lord. She did well. But he forgets that there is another way, besides the outward act, of this love: to feel one-eyed and one-hearted and to think of the one who loves him, even when the person does not speak or open his mouth.

Mary can be compared to a baby who listens attentively and lovingly. He's just there. HAPPY!

Mary's actions may be described as portraits of a silent prayer called 'gaze (watching and listening with love and consideration). So Mary chose the best part, Jesus said (Luke 10, 42).
