Magisterium and theology are two different but complementary things: the former, the teachings issued by the Pope and bishops concerning the governance of God's people; theology is study and research, an inquiry based on creed, faith and God. Each bishop has the just responsibility of carrying out the Church's decision through the Holy Father, in order to be consistent with a nation's tradition. The Church's teaching is aimed at and always preserves the protection of life...
