The situation in which we live today is still in the context of the Second Vatican Council, so we must be open and open to others, and we must reflect deeply on our real lives. As a Pastoral Council, it asks us to look back and receive the various Traditions, but we must not be satisfied with the things that are written only. There, the efforts of scholars from all over the world, after the Second Vatican Council, have brought a great change in scientific research and the way of studying history.

There are researchers of ancient objects and heritage (archaeology) and history who tried to verify some traditions, so they found clear evidence, confirming that they were not only myths or legends. There are also Christians who try to study various customs and traditions, so that they facilitate the transmission of the Gospel.

So it is right to remind that it is important to come back to examine and study the different customs and traditions that are useful, distinguishing each ethnic group and each nation, because this will help everyone to be able to live together and respect each other, and they will support and help each other. Let's not waste time criticizing each other or spending money on war which is the root cause of destruction and poverty in many forms.

Those who are elected and appointed, or those who claim to be the rulers of their country and the rulers of the world, whether at the international level, or at the social level, have a great duty to bring about justice and fairness, to eliminate oppression, corruption, to eliminate war, to eliminate abject poverty (misery), and not to seek personal gain but rather to seek the common good and perpetuate it in the system established and controlled by the community. That is why we must build a self-sustaining community and a solid system at the grassroots level in this third millennium.
