October 4 is the feast of St. Francis of Assisi. The current Pope of the Catholic Church chose to use the name "Francis" when he reached the Holy See. St. Francis of Assisi was the son of a wealthy man during his lifetime, but at the age of 25, he chose a life of poverty, imitating Christ, to share grace with those in need and vulnerable.
