Monday, October 25, 2021 - Thirtieth week of Ordinary Time - Your word, Lord, is truth; in this truth, sanctify us - Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 13, 10-17

This Gospel reveals that Christ is our mediator, he undoes and frees us from the bonds that hinder our relationship with God and teaches us his purpose in the laws he has given us.

Christ not only teaches, but he shows his power and authority by freeing us from the grip of the devil so that we can turn to God. "The demons always try to make people lose in hell", once under his yoke, and we agree to serve him, we bow and we submit completely, to the point of no longer being able to look up to the sky. This is what has happened to this woman for many years: possessed and submissive to him. Let us not enter into temptation, do not give the devil any chance to corrupt us that we are not created for him. Let us go to Christ, for he alone can break the chain that binds us to sin. He alone can lift us up to heaven and bring us to God.

So, let us strengthen our faith in him and hand over our sorrows and distresses to him so that we can receive God and live his commandments which bring true freedom and true life.

The Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth
