Saturday, June 19, 2021 - Eleventh week of Ordinary Time - Jesus Christ made himself poor, he who was rich, so that you might become rich through his poverty - Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 6, 24-34

The disciples are faced with a choice, either the temporal wealth of this life, or the eternal wealth, for one can serve both God and money, according to Jesus. To serve money comes from evil or is a source of harmful consequences within society. As the saying goes: "The agent is a good servant, but a bad master". And Christ's message is clear: "Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all this will be given to you in addition."

For Christ, serving God is the priority, because God knows what those who serve him need: "Do not worry, for your life". The human in us is greatly concerned about the needs, but Jesus reassures us that we are greatly more precious than the birds and the grasses of the field in the sight of God. Christ therefore asks us to clearly determine our priority to the essential: it is a question of abandonment and total trust in God, the expression of which is faith that must be strengthened, because God knows, better than we do. , which is good for us.
