Dear Christians! As we said yesterday, it is through the example of trees (figs and thorns) and houses that Jesus teaches us to lead our lives according to the Gospel. We are still in chapter 6 of the Gospel according to Saint Luke. Jesus declares that words and deeds justify the heart of man: "What the mouth says is that which overflows from the heart". May our appearance always be in accordance with our deepest being, may our words not be vain words but match what we do. Otherwise it would be hypocrisy.

The second part of this Gospel is that Jesus leads us to reflect on our self-evident way of life. This includes receiving the Word of God, living it and applying it to our lives. This is one of the precautions to be taken during this confinement: we recite all the prayers that the Church encourages us to do while staying at home. Are we really focused or is it just an appearance as it has been called "Lord, Lord"? It is the same in receiving the teachings and the Word of God. Some people seem convinced that the teachings of such a priest or bishop are very good; we are very inspired and thank those who share them on social networks; but does the teaching really permeate us, do we live it, and do we apply it in life? Does it really change us from our bad habits? The media have done their duty, but how have we received it? It is against this attitude that Jesus warns us: is the house built on a rock or on sand? Let us build on the Word of God and the teachings and make it our life, for this is how a building is built on rock: solid and eternal.

The Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth
