Friday, May 22, 2020 - Sixth week of Easter Time - Gospel of Jesus Christ according to St. John 16, 20-23 - Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead to enter into glory.
Easter is a new birth. Tortured and crucified, Jesus, by his resurrection, has given birth to new life. A life of joy and peace; a perfect joy because it is eternal. A new birth because risen and alive forever. Our joy has its source in the risen Jesus: it overwhelms our inner being and encourages us to face the daily life. But not only within us, the world in which we find ourselves changes with this faith, in the Risen Jesus, whom we make radiate.
