October 12, 2024 — Saturday, Twenty-seventh Week in Ordinary Time — Blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke (Lk 11: 27-28)
While Jesus was speaking,
a woman from the crowd called out and said to him,
“Blessed is the womb that carried you
and the breasts at which you nursed.”
He replied,
“Rather, blessed are those
who hear the word of God and observe it.”
At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr.
