Sunday, April 05, 2020 - Messianic Entry - Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 21, 1-11 - For us, Christ became obedient, even unto death, and the death of the cross. That is why God exalted him: he endowed him with the Name which is above every name.

After the Lenten journey, we are now in the Holy Week that begins today. A special week during which we are going to strengthen our union with God the Father and with Jesus Christ, the One who gave Himself as a sign of extreme love for humanity. For this week before the resurrection, let us probe our faith, examine our life and compare it to that of Christ.

Those crowds cheering for Jesus, giving him a standing ovation: "Hosanna! Hosanna!"; these same crowds will demand: "Let him be crucified! Let him be crucified!". Inconsistency is an attribute of man. Dear Christians! Let each of us make an effort to remain faithful to Christ by word and deed.
