Jesus warns his disciples not to fall into temptation by clinging to the ephemeral things of this world. The signs and miracles that Christ performed must push our spirit to see beyond the sensible and seek the Kingdom of God. The greatest temptation is to consider God as a great being, just good at doing miracles to satisfy our needs.
