Sunday, March 27, 2022 — Fourth Sunday of Lent, of Lætare — I will arise, I will go to my father, and I will say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 15, 1-3. 11-32

From this Gospel, we can clearly see the immensity of the love that God bears to man. Through this parable, Jesus shows us that God is Father, loving and merciful. He loves us with an equal love for all, without favouritism. Also, there is no place for jealousy in our relationship with God and others, otherwise we risk relegating to the rank of servant, who slavishly obeys, our status as sons. Thus, living Lent does not only consist in praying, fasting and sharing, but also and above all in becoming aware and fully living this love that God has for us.
