Sunday, February 13, 2022 — Sixth Sunday of Ordinary Time — Rejoice, rejoice, says the Lord, for your reward is great in heaven — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 6, 17. 20-26

The announcement of the beatitudes in the Gospel of Luke can leave us doubtful - "Happy are you the poor...Happy are you who are hungry...Happy are you who weep...Happy are you when men hate..." - to the point of wondering: "Where is the happiness in all this?". In reality, it is not a question of rewards that we receive here below, but of the eternal happiness to which we can already hope and rejoice: the kingdom of Heaven.

Diocese of Miarinarivo

Pope Francis has accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Diocese of Miarinarivo, presented by H.E. Mgr Jean Claude Randrianarisoa. At the same time, the Supreme Pontiff has appointed H.E. Mgr Marie Fabien Raharilamboniaina, as Apostolic Admnistrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the same Diocese.

Love and Salvation
