Andrew came from Bethsaida and was the brother of Simon Peter, a fisherman like himself. He was a disciple of John the Baptist and one of the first two disciples to follow Jesus. Jacob: the eldest or elder brother and John, son of Zebedee, also fishermen on the Sea of Tiberias, followed Jesus without hesitation. Jesus gave them the nickname of ‘sons of thunder’...
