Andrew came from Bethsaida and was the brother of Simon Peter, a fisherman like himself. He was a disciple of John the Baptist and one of the first two disciples to follow Jesus. Jacob: the eldest or elder brother and John, son of Zebedee, also fishermen on the Sea of Tiberias, followed Jesus without hesitation. Jesus gave them the nickname of ‘sons of thunder’... Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr.
