Jesus forgives human sins and mercy is his will; as indicated in Matthew 9, 13: ‘Go and learn what it means that I delight in mercy and not in sacrifice, for I have not come to call the righteous but sinners. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners’; Luke 23:34 confirms this: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do”... Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr.
