To ask, to beg. This is very human. Let's listen to the catechism again: it is through the prayer of petition that we express our awareness of our relationship with God: as creatures, we are neither our origin, nor the master of our adversities, nor our ultimate end, but also, as sinners, we know, as Christians, that we are turning away from our Father. Love and Salvation
