The Psalms did not stop at the time of Jesus, but continue to this day. You could say that the Psalms are still part of the Church's prayer or liturgy. The Psalms are the best and most precious prayers. In the New Testament, Our Heavenly Father is the best prayer that Jesus taught his disciples, but in the Old Testament, it's the Psalms. Love and Salvation
