What is celebrated on Easter Day is a continuation of the holy story after the resurrection of Jesus. The appearance to his disciples is the climax of the Holy Reading of this Easter. Peter was the first witness and preached the Good News according to what is written in the Acts of the Apostles, and this is why the Church is apostolic. Love and Salvation
