The Episcopal Commission for the Application of Justice and Peace adopted the theme "Women and Land Ownership" for the celebration of 08 March. In order to give dignity to women, everyone's thoughts were drawn to the fact that "men and women complement each other, not only in physical and mental aspects, but also in their personality". The law gives women full and equal rights to land ownership. Officials encourage women to pursue their legal freedom, to enjoy and strengthen their rights; for example, civil marriage.
