Organic production is growing in rural areas. Many farmers are already working there. A farmer, Mr. Ranaivoson Fleuris from the Analamanga region, has benefited from this organic production, which is not chemical.

Mr. Ranaivoson Fleuris, fruit tree grower engaged in organic farming in the district of Antananarivo-Atsimondrano. He saw the mission to collaborate on the project but there was also the training he received. The production is based on the use of organic fertilizers obtained from vermicompost.

In addition to fruit trees, Mr. Ranaivoson Fleuris also grows vegetables, the products are always organic. The market is an asset of this production. It is currently in high demand.

The problem, however, is the lack of water due to climate change, so farmers dig holes for ponds in order to get water to irrigate. Cultivated land is also limited and yields are limited. It's a problem that needs to be resolved, says Ranaivoson Fleuris.
