It is feared that two-thirds of production could be lost if bees were not available. The Malagasy state insists on the role of bees in production. of which here, The official ceremony took place on May 20 in the rural commune of Anjepy, district of Manjakandriana. “Live bees give life, let's protect them” was the theme of World Bee Day this year. There are many beekeepers in Anjepy, including Mr. Randriamaharomanana Anjarasoa. Beekeeping, he says, is an exploitable fields; the only problem is the “Varoise” disease which still exists today, the one that appreciated the State which valued and supported this path of the beekeeping sector.

The ceremony in Anjepy was honored by the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations or FAO. Beekeeping is an exploitable sector. The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries has a strategy to improve the quality of the product, said the Minister Ranarivelo Lucien.
