The Ministry of Handicrafts and Arts and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock will support FAFIALA in the promotion of its activities, especially for the silk industry. This was the case during the ceremony celebrating the 30 years of this centre on Saturday 8 October at its headquarters in Ambohimangakely, in the Antananarivo-Avaradrano district.

FAFIALA was and is and will continue to be, said Executive Director Raveloarijaona Nonat. There were many areas of work carried out by the Centre during its time in Madagascar, be it in agriculture, livestock and especially environmental protection.
