Nearly 400,000 young people, half of whom are unemployed, arrive each year on the labor market in Madagascar. Only 80,000 of them can continue to farm the land inherited from their parents. However, success in this area requires perfect control of production and outlets.

The CEDAM (Departmental Circle of Farmers of Manjakandriana) and the FISOI (Filamatra Soa Iombonana) of the Commune of Mahitsy in the District of Ambohidratrimo, provided their support for the training of young people in the field of rural entrepreneurship.

For the CEDAM, ten young people received a material endowment by favoring the pig farming and rabbit farming sectors without neglecting beekeeping, poultry farming and fish farming. Similarly within the FISOI, ten other young people received materials from the SOA network. For the latter, the dairy cow sector, pig breeding, the production of ducklings and the production of broiler chickens are in the spotlight. Apart from the breeding of dairy cows, these sectors are profitable in one semester.
