Vermicompost has been used in Madagascar for many years. Fertilizer for organic production in agriculture. Among those who use this fertilizer is the “Lanja Miakatra” association. The founder of the Ranaivoarison Basile association, Papa Bio, shared his knowledge and experience on this subject.

There are three stages of production, explains Papa Bio. The first is to prepare their food. The second is the introduction of worms into the pines, where they are bred, and the third is the preparation of manure from them. The production of vermicompost is simple but requires control and practice, so it can be done by any farmer.

There are many benefits to using worm manure as Papa Bio explains. First of all, the natural components it contains, which are essential for plants. any type of plant suits it. Second, worm manure fights parasites. Third, the availability of organic products using them, which are good for health.

Economically, the market for organic products is in high demand, not only locally but also on the international market. The price of the product is also good, which is much higher than the product using the input containing the chemical element.

Worms from California in the United States, a genus of Eugenia, and the strongest eating worms of existing worms will be bred. Worms consume the same amount of food as themselves the same amount of manure they produce.
