Farmers have tried to maintain their production despite the Covid pandemic. The Federation of Rural Women of Madagascar, or FVTM, did not miss the International Day of the Farmer Woman, which is celebrated every October 15; by presenting the productions of the members, their efforts, they mark it each year.

 FVTM has experienced that it is becoming more difficult for peasant women to cope with their production and livelihoods over the past year, and this year, due to Covid and the impact of climate change,this is why they called on the State and its partners to set up a special fund for peasant women in order to face the "Covid-19" pandemic and climate change.

However, FVTM has to face reality, so there has been collaboration with various partners. Including the part of Vakinakaratra... The Moroccan, for example, supported FVTM in Vakinakaratra in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. There was a joint project with FOFIFA on this subject. There are many benefits to be had from it, said Ramanantenasoa Suzane, the organization's leader.
