Epistaxis is the medical term used to describe nosebleeds. The nose bleeds easily because of its location on the face and the proximity of blood vessels in the wall of the nose. There are two types of epistaxis: anterior epistaxis and posterior epistaxis, behind the nose. Children aged between 5 and 10 generally have nosebleeds, but adults do too. Epistaxis can be caused by shock or other illnesses. Health and hygiene" programme with Radio Don Bosco.
