Every February 4, World Cancer Day is celebrated, a disease that can be fatal if left untreated. Cancer is a disease caused by changes in human cells, which grow rapidly and are no longer controlled by the body. Cancer causes tumors that damage existing organs and can spread to other organs. Cancer can be diagnosed, prevented and treated.
At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.
