Fear is particularly common among primary school children. November 20 is International Children's Rights Day. Fear is one of the obstacles preventing students from developing and progressing. Fear is rooted and ingrained in a person. Children aged 2 to 6 and 6 to 11 are not yet mature, so anything that shocks them creates fear. Parents and educators must make an effort to help children overcome fear in elementary school before moving on to teenage life. The teacher arouses fear in pupils, and so do their classmates...

The Church and all human beings, society, the state and the international community must protect the dignity of marriage and the family. The Church says that the family is the foundation of the community; where successive generations help each other to acquire greater wisdom and harmonize human rights with the necessities of social life. The first is the fulfillment of Simeon's prophecy: your heart will be pierced by a sword; the second is the flight to Egypt; third, Jesus was lost in the temple in his twelfth year, and his mother was sad; fourth is Jesus carrying the cross, Our Lady's heart ached to see her son's suffering; fifth St Mary stood at the foot of the cross and heard Jesus' words: woman, behold your child, and to his disciples: behold your mother; the sixth, when Jesus' body was taken down from the cross and Our Lady took him in her arms; the seventh is Jesus' burial in the tomb.
At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.
