The desire to seek personal pleasure must be controlled; it is wrong to think that having a girlfriend with someone allows you to get rid of your need for self-pleasure, particularly sex and play, in order to have other pleasures. To be young and to be an adult is to be able to enter into a relationship with others, not to use them as a means of getting pleasure. Pentecost is an important time for Christians, and it encourages everyone to go to confession often, every week, as the Council of Trent states.
