The Lord called in His eternal joy and peace on Friday, June 12, 2020 at noon, Br. Abbio Elio, SDB, after having fulfilled his mission during his 65 years of religious service in the Salesian Don Bosco community.

He arrived in Madagascar in 1996. A simple and loving person. He was well known for helping the poor despite his state of health. Amusing and courageous. He was a pious man because his many tasks did not prevent him from praying. All his actions were for the salvation and service of others. These were the characteristics Don Bosco demanded of the Salesians. He always supported his colleagues.

During this period of health emergency, he distributed aid to those in need every Tuesday and Friday morning. At the age of 82 years, he received his reward in paradise.

Br. Abbio Elio, Don Bosco is waiting for you in paradise!
