In his message for the 55th World Day for Social Communications, Pope Francis urges communicators to be witnesses of the truth: to go, see and share.
Communicators therefore have a duty to seek sources of information as well as to show solidarity in the fight against disinformation and corruption. "It is our responsibility to educate society and free it from the darkness of ignorance", affirms Mgr Fulgence Rabemahafaly, Archbishop of Fianarantsoa, President of the Episcopal Commission for Social Communications, explaining the message of the Holy Father.
