Sunday August 1, 2021- Eighteenth Sunday of ordinary time- If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him- Holy Gospel of John 6, 24-35

That day, when the people saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into a boat and went to Capernaum in search of Jesus. We are now the people of God who also constantly seek Him and make every effort to find Him, whether in church or around us, with friends, with the poor and the afflicted and the afflicted and the marginalized. So do not be lazy to seek Him because it is part of our duty to be baptized. Only the lazy do not seek, and those who do not seek do not find.

But everyone has a reason to seek it out. Here, Jesus explains why people are looking for Him: “You are looking for Me, not because you have seen miracles, but because you have eaten of the loaves and been satisfied. You don't want to work, you don't want to work, but expect to receive, like a grave or just writhing hands but want to be satisfied. Jesus clearly says: “Work”, which is the first, so don't be lazy but be active; continued, “Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that lasts until eternal life, which the Son of man will give you. After all, if we seek Heaven in our quest for perishable food, maybe Heaven and Earth have been around for a long time, but the opposite is what drives us so much.

The people asked Jesus, “What shall we do? You don't have to wait for an order or a mission from anyone, but it is possible to hope that the goal is clear: to work for sustainable food for eternal life. However, Jesus taught here: “It is the work of God that you believe in him whom he sent. So faith is a work, believing in Christ, the Messenger of God. Unfortunately, two thousand years later, there are still some who do not believe this, propagating other ideologies than that. These people don't get away with it, so don't follow them lest they go astray.

These people's repeated questions to Jesus seem self-righteous and laziness, the point is not to do so, and they are looking for every way to get rid of the bullets; so let's not be like him.

In addition, God is a Father who gives life and cares for his children, so He does not leave us hungry but gives us the best food, His only begotten Son, Christ. He is the bread of life, more than the bread of life, the food of life, the food, the gift of God the Father to all his children. So let's not get caught up in it, and make an effort not to get lost, like the houses in front of us, don't give demons a chance. But if you still have an idea, come to Him often. Those who are unable to do so are prayed for and participate in the public participation. For the words of Jesus are clear: “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never go hungry; and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. Let it be with us. Amen.
